For an apartment dweller, a park is a beautiful thing! It becomes your back yard where you read your book, talk on your phone, meet up with friends, eat your picnic lunch when on break from work, take your kids to play, go for a walk, or simply sit and watch the world go by. I saw all of this in the Jardin des Plantes -- the "garden of plants" or botanical gardens, a five minute walk from my apartment.
